Cheryl Thomas

Cheryl Terese Thomas, a Chicago native, works with her husband Bishop David Thomas in building ministry.

Lady Cheryl firmly believes that it is her responsibility to serve, and to serve wherever she is needed. Her ministry involvement spans over many years and includes leading the women’s, youth and outreach ministry; serving as the controller, a trustee, the church administrator, assistant secretary and a member of the choir. Lady Cheryl has also served as a Girl Scout coordinator, organizing a church troop and engaging girls of all ages.

Lady Cheryl has spearheaded evangelism efforts that include, backyard bible classes, “Takin’ it to the Streets” and street corner prayer. She has a strong compassion for women and teen girls, and has organized and facilitated retreats and classes for both. She also uses her expertise in financial administration to empower individuals through basic financial management classes and workshops and one-on-one counseling. God has also granted many opportunities for Lady Cheryl to share with His people her gift of exhortation.

Lady Cheryl holds a Bachelor’s in accounting and business administration, an MBA and is a Certified Life Coach.

One of Lady Cheryl’s favorite scriptures is Proverbs 3:5-6,

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.”
