Dowdell has been a faithful member of New St. Paul since 1998 serving as a Deacon, Armor Bearer and licensed Minister under the leadership of the late Pastor Donald C. Fairbanks. Dowdell was ordained as an Elder in 2011 and a Staff Pastor in 2023.
In his role as Staff Pastor, Dowdell oversees the Grief and Sick & Shut In and the Audio/Visual Ministries. He also serves in the Christian Education Ministry.
Dowdell is blessed to be married to, and serve in ministry with his wife LaTressa, New St. Paul's Church Administrator. He enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
